So… is your agility dog fit?

Dog Sports.Cz do a slow motion video of the International Border Collie Champ every year.

It’s always great to see (although a little scary) exactly what our dogs are going through and really emphasises the need for safe equipment and conditions, but even more importantly for dogs to be physically fit.  We’re not just talking about your dog being able to run around chasing a ball all day, agility dogs need every muscle to be strong and toned to help protect them from injuries and be able to perform and push their bodies to the extreme.

The dark, smooth coated collie especially caught my eye in this video. He/she looks very sound and its technique is brilliant. Something to aspire to!

So… anyone not do physio with their agility dogs?
