I know it’s still November, but I’m truly in the Christmas spirit now. Our towns lights were switched on last night. Today on Radio 1’s Greg James Show they launched North Star Caller and played one from last year, followed by a Christmas song. Yesterday I even bought my own wrapping paper and wrapped my first Christmas presents.

And to put the cherry on the cake, this evening I have put together my Christmas playlist for parties, driving music and general background Christmas tunes.

It’s full of the classics, with only 1 or 2 more modern ones. I’m a sucker for the original songs rather than remakes, or older covers.
