Tonight its the turn of my class to do their assessment. This is the first obedience course I’ve taught for a while as I’ve been teaching agility over the summer. I feel like a nervous parent watching them go through their exercises, silently encouraging them to relax and enjoy themselves.
My trick of the day is Paws Up.
This can be done on a fence or a wall or a pole you are holding. Its great for teaching them to stretch and use their core strength muscles. Plus it’s a good exercise to do before teaching the stand tall, which we’ll come to on another day.
I’ve got something exciting happening tomorrow so I’ll be blogging about it in the morning. Plus a full packed weekend ahead. See you real soon.
